PHILADELPHIA, PENN. — “The Art of Presentation: Cecilia Beaux’s Picture Frames and Painting Techniques” will be the focus of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts’ Art-at-Lunch talk on American art and culture on Wednesday, February 20, from noon to 1 pm.

Mark Bockrath, former chief conservator at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, presents an examination of period frames chosen by Cecilia Beaux for her paintings, including many from the academy’s own collection. He will also discuss her artistic vision through a study of her painting techniques.
