Shaun Mangold

Mangold is a sophomore diver on the Newtown High swimming and diving team.

Favorite part about diving: “I like the competition — just trying to beat your [score] each time, setting a new record for yourself.”

Toughest aspect: “When you smack,” but “It’s always fun to learn new tricks.”

When he’s not diving: Runs track.

Favorite subject: Biology.

Food of choice: Pizza.
