FISHERS, IND. — Jenkins Show Management and Country Home Magazine have signed a sponsorship agreement for eight of the Jenkins antiques shows conducted annually, including Farmington Antiques & Design; The Tailgate Antiques Show and Antiques at Music Valley in Nashville, Tenn; and the Springfield (Ohio) Antique Show and Flea Market.

Country Home Magazine has been an active sponsor of antiques shows for many years. This represents “a very important infusion of fresh marketing support and publicity for our markets” stated Jon Jenkins, who together with his father Steve runs the company.

Jenkins said, “The exposure was beyond the limits of any promoter’s advertising and publicity budgets.” He added, “There is no financial exchange in this agreement, but the shows will now have the Country Home Antiquing Festival brand attached to them. The Meredith Corporation is one America’s largest media concerns with well-known publications including Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies’ Home Journal and Family Circle, as well as significant television holdings. We have the full support of their marketing and pubic relations staff moving forward.”

Jenkins said the program will take a few months to be fully implemented but the changes will begin with the February 13–16, Nashville shows. “We remain committed to maintaining the unique character to each of the events with a focus on quality,” he said.
