Save The Sculptures

Members of the Community Improvement Committee of the Newtown Woman’s Club, GFWC, Inc, recently presented copies of the Don’t Walk On By book, part of the national “Save the Sculptures” project, to the C.H. Booth Library and the Newtown Historical Society. Assembled by the Danbury/Newtown Fairfield Woman’s Club, with the help of Newtown and Bethel, the books show notable outdoor sculptures in Danbury, Newtown, and other area towns as part of a “sculpture trail” that extends across the country.
