HARTFORD, CONN. — The Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art will present a gallery talk, “Hitting the Beach in Normandy with French Painters of the Nineteenth Century,” on Thursday, May 1, at 6 pm.

Presented by Wadsworth Atheneum curator Eric Zafran in the Aetna Theater, the lecture will provide in depth exploration of the artists, their styles and their techniques as seen in the special exhibition, “Impressionists by the Sea.”
