Each year the Westover Scholarship Committee meets to award named endowed scholarships to students with outstanding academic and personal qualities. Westover is an independent day and boarding school for girls in grades 9 through 12 in Middlebury.
Kelly is the daughter of Mr Daniel OâConnor and Mrs Elizabeth Johnston-OâConnor of Newtown.
Jennifer-Morgan Smith, a senior majoring in History at Muhlenberg College, was named in Whoâs Who among students in American Universities and Colleges. Miss Smith will graduate in May 2001.
Miss Smith is the daughter of Gail M.H. Smith.
Sarah Elizabeth Doherty, of Newtown, has been elected to the Iota Chapter of the Phi Beta Kappa Society at Gettysburg College. Miss Doherty is an English major and a member of the Class of 2001.
