Bridle Lands Meeting On April 15 For Equestrians, Bikers, Hikers and Skiers
Love horses? ... Trails?
The Newtown Bridle Lands Association is hosting an open meeting and the public is invited. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 15 at 7:30 pm at the Newtown Meeting House (on the lower level), next to the flagpole on Main Street.
Free supper is included. You donât have to own a horse or live in Newtown to become a member of this âgrass rootsâ organization dedicated to equines and trails.
Whether you are an equestrian, mountain-biker, cross-country skier or hiker, this is a great opportunity to find out more about the group, its goals and meet others who share an interest in preserving open space and trails.Â
The Newtown Bridle Lands Association hosts a number of events throughout the year, including educational seminars, trail rides and a hunter pace in October.
The association welcomes new members and offers single person or family memberships. Call Cathy at 788-3213 if you are coming to be sure there is enough food.
