Villa Restaurant 10, Newtown Hardware 3 – Katelyn Dandrea and Mariah Joy combined to pitch three scoreless innings and led Villa Restaurant to the win. Kamie Harmerling paced the offense with three hits and Brittany Emslie also hit hard. For Newtown Hardware, Elie Mouchantat went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Stephanie Roman pitched two scoreless innings.

Villa Restaurant 13, Advantage Loan 3 – Ashley Cirone, Julia Clarke, and Katelyn Dandrea pitched flawlessly for the Villa in the win. For Advantage Loan, Victoria Hanulik made several outstanding fielding plays and Madison Hauck and Mary Hamula led the offense.

Keno Graphics 13, Advantage Loan 3 – Erin Begg went 3-for-3 with a two-run home run to lead Keno to the win. Daniella Genovese and Ali Kennedy each tripled. Tara Dawley also had a three-hit day and Courtney Escoda pitched well. For Advantage, Rachel DiVanno, Sarah Hull and Lia Elken played well.

Keno Graphics 8, Executive Power Equipment 6 – Daniella Genovese singled and doubled and Ali Kennedy belted a home run to power Keno. Erin Begg and Maggie Kennedy combined to strikeout nine batters. For Executive, Jessica Jowdy and Nora Murphy had outings on the mound while Morgan Cutolo, Julia LeBlanc, Kelly O’Sullivan, and Kira Reed played a tough defensive infield.

George’s Pizza 15, People’s Bank 8 – Emily Nacewicz, Sheila Smith and Rhea Schneider each went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead George’s to the win. Amanda Rowan was solid on the mound. For People’s, Jade Mather went 3-for-3 and Samantha Rohrbacher hit the ball well. Melanie Rotante and Nicole Rotante played well.

U12

Burton Builders 10, Newtown Drug Center 5 – Natalie Dunn and Kelly Burton each singled in a pair of runs to lead Burton to the win. Colleen Cunningham struck out 10 batters and combined with Taylor Johnson for six strong innings on the mound. Hannah Basch-Gould & Danielle Rubino made some excellent defensive plays. For Drug Center, Stephanie Sanchez pitched four strong innings with nine strikeouts and combined with Brittany Clarke in a valiant pitching effort. Stephanie Suhoza made some excellent defensive plays from behind the plate. Jessica Lynch led a strong defensive effort in the field.

Creative Mailing 12, Drug Center 7 – Kate Bowen smacked a homer and scored three runs to lead Creative Mailing over Drug Center. Paige Woodhouse was outstanding at the plate as she went 3-for-3 while Amanda Nealy ripped two hits. Megan Gibbons had an RBI single. For Drug Center, Sabrina Yudelson ripped two hits and scored two runs while Stephanie Suhoza and Stephanie Sanchez each collected hits.

Creative Mailing 6, Brookfield Dental 4 – Brittany Soucar knocked in the winning run with an infield single in the bottom of the fifth as Creative Mailing edged Brookfield Dental. Devon Miles ripped an RBI single for Creative while Kelsey Van Derlinn played well at second and scored a run. For Brookfield Dental, Rachael Ruiz had a great night at the plate and was 2-for-2 while Jenna Bonaccorso collected a single and scored a run. Ally Modzelewski had a great catch at shortstop.

Creative Mailing 11, Burton Builders 5 – Marilyn LaCroce led the Creative Mailing defense as she threw out a runner at first from right field and made a great catch at second. Shannon Barra also had a great night as she ripped a single and made a great catch at shortstop. Jessica Fossum smacked an RBI single. For Burton, Caitlin Cocivi led a valiant defensive effort making several key plays at second base. Jenn Callery hit an RBI single in the fourth to spark a five-run inning. Colleen Cunningham hit a strong single to the outfield and Megan Rockwell contributed a strong double to the losing effort.

LRM Landscaping 7, Ricci’s Salon 6 – LRM Landscaping came from behind with two runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to win a well-played game. Gabby Mason had three runs batted in including the game-winner while Erin Kramer drove in two runs. Tracy Dunn had two hits and Sarah Pettinelli drove in one run and scored another. For Ricci’s, solid play by Marissa Chappell and two outstanding defensive plays by Jessica Cherry kept Ricci Salon in a tight game. Lindsay McCoy and Morghan Moroney provide gutsy pitching performances.

LRM Landscaping 8, Ricci’s Salon 7 – Gabby Mason collected a pair of hits and turn an unassisted double play to lead LRM. Sarah Pettinelli had the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the sixth, driving in Courtney Amaral. Victoria Braga was solid in the field. For Ricci’s, Meriah Tani played well at first, Jenny Dorso had a strong game in the field and at the plate, and Liz Tarshis was strong behind the dish.

Newtown Phonebook 17, Ricci’s Salon 6 – Kristen Errico and Jackie Kissack led a 22-hit attack with three hits each as the Phonebook earned the win. Becky Bloom, Caitlin D’Eramo, and Karina Cardella played great in the field. For Ricci’s, Morghan Moroney had two hits and two runs scored. Ava Rojo, Samantha Defilippe, and Marissa Saravis played excellent defense.

Newtown Phonebook 14, Karen’s Fitness 10 – Margaret Sullivan, Emily Dutt, and Meghan Condon had key hits in a fifth inning rally to lead the Phonebook squad. Kathy Townsend’s RBI triple and Jackie Kissack’s 2 run double ignited a five-run first inning. For Karen’s, Victoria Lavalla went 3-for-3 with a double and Morgan D’Avola pitched three outstanding innings.

Newtown Phonebook 16, LRM Landscaping 6 – Linnea Pearson was 4-for-4 with four RBI and played outstanding defense at first to lead Newtown Phonebook to the win. Kathy Townsend and Karina Cardella each went 3-for-3 while Jackie Kissack, Katie Adams, and Kristen Errico combined to pitch a great game. For LRM, Ashley Perry, Nicole Nonnenmacher and Tracy Dunn played solid defense with Dunn striking out three in two innings pitched. Erin Kramer led the offense with two RBI and two runs scored.

Bob Tendler Real Estate 17, Carquest 16 – Ashley Soucar, Ashlee Ross, and Erin Fish had strong games for Tendler while Gina Pisacreta, Theresa Viestro (three RBI) and Kelsey Daniels played well.

Century 21 versus Ferris Mulch – Laken Hughes (two nice plays), Hanna Ahmaripour (two hits) and Amy McGurk (nice pitching) led Century 21 as Haley Trudell (catching), Emma D’Avola (hitting), and Hannah Bartlett (hitting) led Ferris Mulch.
