New Weekly Flea Market

Debuts This Weekend

BETHLEHEM — The grand opening of the Bethlehem Flea Market will be celebrated  at the Bethlehem Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 26.

The market is scheduled to run for 20 weeks during the 2008 season at the fairgrounds, 384 Main Street North (Route 61), ending on October 25. The fair will run each week from 6 am to 1 pm. Admission and parking will be free.

Space is available for 200 dealers of all kinds, so the market will offer a little bit of everything: antiques and collectibles, machinery and equipment, plants, flowers, organic foods, a farmer’s market, tools, building supplies, furniture, jewelry, recreational vehicles, trucks and cars, professional services, artists and artisans and crafts, massage services, household and industrial goods, and more.

In support of local artists and artisans the market will be hosting an art gallery booth featuring a different artist each week.

This is a green market. Food vendors are being encouraged to sell non-genetically modified foods and will be required to recycle and separate trash.
