Note To Letter Writers

Since The Newtown Bee’s October 30 issue will be the last before Election Day on November 3, some restrictions will be placed on political letters to the editor.

Letters to the editor affirming one’s support for a candidate or answering critical comments in previous letters will be accepted for publication. Letters that raise new criticisms of or negative allegations about candidates will not be published since there will be no opportunity for that new information to be rebutted. As always, all letters are published at the sole discretion of the editor.
