St Rose Knights Of Columbus Officers Installed
The St Rose Knights of Columbus Virgilius Council 185 installation ceremony and dinner took place at the Alexandria Room on Friday evening, June 13.
Highlights of the evening included welcoming back brother and Master Sergeant Jamie Rebman, who had recently returned from deployment in Afghanistan, recognition of Past Grand Knight John Moulder, presentation of a check for $350 to Chaplain Monsignor Robert Weiss for St Catherineâs Academy, acknowledgement of several fundraising projects that will help finance the new Knights building on the St Rose grounds, and an outstanding meal catered by brother Knight and Newtownâs own Sal Cucco.
Newly installed officers for 2008-09 are: Jim Tevnan, grand knight; Tim Reilly, deputy grand knight; Tim Haas, treasurer; Brian Liotta, recorder; Jamie Rebman, warden; Joe Moran, advocate; Chris Carney, outside guard; John Barry, inside guard; Bob LaMontagne, district deputy; Charlie Nostrand, chancellor; Jud Doyle, trustee one year; Len Moritz, trustee two year; John Moulder; trustee three year; and Art Bennett, lecturer.
