Be Safe At College

DANBURY — The Women’s Center of Greater Danbury will sponsor a college safety workshop for male and female college-bound students and their parents Wednesday, July 16.

Topics to be discussed include personal safety tips, risk reduction strategies, dating violence, stalking, hazing, the link between sexual assault and alcohol/drugs, students’ rights, and date rape drugs. The workshop will run from 7 to 9 pm.

The program will be presented by Heidi Rankin, Women’s Center community educator.
