Keeping Traffic Steady
Keeping Traffic Steady
To the Editor:
We want to write a letter to thank Domenic Socci for the wonderful job he has done this year directing traffic at the high school. Before he arrived, getting to school in the morning was a nightmare! Since then, we teachers here at the school have often remarked on what a hero Mr Socci was to us. Not only does he have a keen sense of timing, watching the lights and the traffic flow closely and with a practiced eye, but he almost always does so with a smile as he waves us in.
We are well aware that directing traffic in our booming school district cannot be an easy job. Mr Socci, however, handles the job with aplomb, whether in his shirtsleeves and sunglasses on a bright morning, or bundled up in driving snow. Every morning, without fail, we all keep moving and getting into school safely, thanks to him!
Great job, Domenic Socci!
Sincerely,
Jacquelyn Ottomeyer
