Pickup Truck

Police report that at about 7:41 pm October 1, motorist Kurt Olsen, 44, of Mahopac, N.Y., was driving a 1987 Chevrolet pickup truck northward on Toddy Hill Road, near its intersection with Settlers Lane, when Olsen lost control of the vehicle and went off the left side of the road, striking a utility pole.

Olsen received minor cuts in the accident and declined transport the hospital, police said. Botsford firefighters responded to the accident.

Police verbally warned Olsen for traveling at a speed too fast for conditions.

Suzuki Vs Chrysler

About 6:25 am September 30, motorist Clinton Scovill, 59, of 14 Cedar Hill Road was driving a 2002 Chrysler Sebring convertible near 151 South Main Street, when he slowed for traffic conditions and was struck from behind by motorist Robert Van Horn, 33, of Napanoch, N.Y., who was driving a 2008 Suzuki sedan, police said.

There were no injuries. Police issued Van Horn an infraction for failure to drive a reasonable distance apart.
