Lee J. Demers, Builder 11, BASE Technologies 0 â Mac Morlock blasted a two-run homer and Chad Magoulas added his third homer of the season as Lee J. Demers rolled to the win. Kaleb Rowe double and Ben Stoller knocked in a pair of runs. Joe Davis, Mike Newman and Matt Spencer singled for BASEâs only three hits. Spencer made a nifty play at second base to prevent a base hit.
Ryder Financial 11, Westport Worldwide 10 â Lead-off hitter Nick Barreto slapped three hits and scored three runs and teammate Andy Kelley rapped two hits, including a long double to right field and his third home run of the season, to lead Ryder Financial at Glander Field last week. JP Blanco pitched a perfect sixth inning and picked up the save. For Westport Worldwide, Reid Schmidt got three hits and scored three times. Kevin LeBlanc had two hits and pitched well and Richie Sandler pitched a scoreless inning.
PC Metals 9, MasterCard International 5 â PC Metals bounced back with four runs in the sixth inning and scored five in the eighth inning to capture the victory at Glander Field last week. For the victors, Jeff Grasso had two doubles and three hits; Gary Braun whacked a triple and three hits; Jon Hull had three singles, and Riley Wurtz got a double and three hits. Nick Sajovic rapped a clutch RBI single to tie the game in the sixth inning, and Braunâs triple won the game.
BASE Technologies 6, Lee J. Demers, Builder 3 â Austin Ekstrom hurled two shutout innings and David Gerics smacked two hits, including a double, to lead BASE at Liberty Field last week. Gerics and Newman scored two runs each. Rightfielder Pat Sullivan threw a strike to second base to cut down a runner trying to stretch a single into a double. For the opposition, Kyle Wilcox, Dean Demers, Ben Stoller, Mac Morlock and Kaleb Rowe rapped singles.

Nationals 6, Americans 4 â Chase Wurtz, Colton Smith, Bubba Condon and Kevin Conte turned in strong pitching performances to lead the Nationals in the first U9 All Star game. Brandon Powell hit a key triple and pitched a scoreless inning. For the Americans, Victor Vasquez and Connor Roche pitched shutout ball, helped by Stephen Grasso, who threw out a runner stealing. Bobby Archiere and Nick Lotrecchiano had key hits.
Americans 7, Nationals 4 â Andy Braun belted a bases-clearing double and pitched a scoreless first inning to lead the Americans. Matt Wood, Logan Walsh and Michael Davenport drove in runs with key hits. For the Nationals, Julian Dunn had two hits and Virgil Procaccini pitched a scoreless first inning. Matt Lindell and Jonathan Rospenda each had one hit and made nice defensive plays.
Associated Refuse 7, Mount Pleasant Hospital For Animals 6 â Akash Ahuja and Matt Mitchel each scored a run while Ahuja and Bobby Lydon both had hits and an RBI a piece to lead Associated Refuse to the victory. Chris Spalvieri played well and Will Swain struck out the side. For Mount Pleasant, Michael Biancardi pitched a solid inning in his pitching debut as Jim Parker, Forest Speed and Tommy Catalina also pitched exceptionally well. Speed also went 2-for-2 with a single, double and four RBIs.
Equale & Cirone 9, Coldwell Banker 3 â Anthony Sodowski, Cooper Mclean and Angel Santos had a good game on defense while the offense was led by Virgil Procaccini in the win for Equale & Cirone.
Taunton Press 7, Fairfield County Irrigation Systems 6 â Ryan Rosenberger tripled and scored two runs while Kevin Conte had three hits and scored a run to lead Taunton. Tommy Rahr and Jack OâBrien each made key defensive plays to help preserve the win. Andy Braun pitched well and had a triple for FCIS while Bobby Archiere, Logan Walsh and Stephen Grasso played well.

Hawks 7, Carminuccioâs 6 â Luke Rustici and Sam Czel anchored the pitching while Rob Schreiber and Tony Leonardi sparked the offense for the Hawks.
Dina* versus Newtown Bee â Kate Laaksonen singled twice and doubled as Spencer Tolson and Evan Saravis had three singles apiece to lead Dina*. Stephen Brittin added a key hit in the fifth inning. Nicholas Samuelson added a key kit for the Bee as Devin Luzietti, Patrick Mcgowan and Valentino Dilorio were strong on the mound.
Turner Construction 4, Stormtroopers 2 â Joey Carino had two hits, including a double, two runs scored and an RBI to pace Turner. Keaton McCleary had two hits, one run scored, an RBI and made a fine running catch of a fly ball. Matt Perun crushed a long triple ten feet short of the center field fence at Hawley.
Hocon Gas 4, Turner Construction 2 â James Frazzetta had two hits, a run scored and an RBI to pace Turner in the loss. Conner Flint had a hit and drove in the other Turner run.
Hawks 2, Richâs Keys & Locks 1 â Nicholas Randle and Ethan Carpenter starred on the mound while Liam McInerney and Michael Poulter sparked the offense for the Hawks.
