Girls U14
Roadrunners 2, Watertown 1 â Kaitlin Brophy scored two goals as the Roadrunners came from behind to defeat nemesis Watertown. Emma Kingsley provided an assist as Sarah Murtha, Meagan Gonzalez and Izzy Gleason had great all-around games.
Girls U13
Power 1, Danbury 0 â Hannah Maret scored the lone goal off a Meaghan Carney assist to lead the Power. Lexi Black played a great game in goal, recording her first shutout of the season. Cristina Naldini, Alex Klein and Katherine Scott all had strong performances.
Power 10, Sherman 0 â The Power finished the season up strong with a dominating performance over Sherman. Ale Fuentes and Meaghan Carney each scored three goals and Celeste Cheung and Jessica Jowdy scored two each. Nora Murphy and Abbie Keough pressured on offense all day while Christina Caporale had another strong game at mid-field. This was the teamâs sixth shutout of the season.
Girls U12
Flash 1, Southbury 1 â Kristiana Engler scored the lone Newtown goal in a 1-1 draw. Amy Martin, Kristen Grabowski and Morgan Kirol played solid defense as Brittany Tolla, Kelly Brooks, Kristy Papaj, Christina Gould, and Lindsay Jossick were strong in midfield.
Boys U12
New Milford 2, Cobras 0 â In a game shortened by darkness, the Cobras lost their first District game despite the efforts of Richard Greenwood and Ian Solaski applying pressure most of the game. Midfield play was dominated by Robert Willis, Drew Sullivan and Patrick Thornberg. Defensively, Noah Sock and Collin Moller kept the game close.
Cobras 4, Watertown 1 â In the second half, Danny Bittman, Christian Mather, Andy Kelley and Chris Erikson each contributed a goal. Pieter Martino provided an assist. The Cobras shut down their opponent behind the strong play of Drew Sullivan, Robert Willis, Eric Fiore, Stephen Conway and Sam Langdon.
Cobras 3, New Hartford 0 â The Cobras soundly defeated New Hartford behind the scoring of Nick Gerbo, Connor Quinn (assisted by Danny Bittman) and Andy Kelley. Midfield play was dominated by Nick Barreto, Patrick Thornberg, Ian Solaski and Colin Moller. The impenetrable defense was led by Pieter Martino, Matt Rahtelli, Noah Sock and Sean Elliot in goal.
Boys U11
Beasts 7, New Hartford 0 â Andrew Martinez and Stefan Dullinger scored two goals apiece while with Jonah Muniz, Sam Pliszka and Owen Gaston also notched a goal as the Beasts rolled. Charlie Helgren, Connor Gallagher, Sam Boland, Doug Miller, Brandon Marks and Jordan Sock had an excellent game constantly pressuring on offense.
Boys U10
Lightning 6, Watertown 0 â Brenton Scott scored three goals as the Lightning finished up the season at 11-5 overall and 5-3 in the division. Kaj Djonne, Dillion Wikramanayake and Clay Gattey also scored. Ryan King, Luca Imbimbo and Knute Johnson recorded assists as Colin Reilly, Kevin Ovendorf were a force on defense.
Girls U10
Lightning 3, New Milford 0 â Sarah Lynch scored three times to lead the Lightning to a shutout of New Milford. Kailee Dunnigan and Amy Martinelli played well on offense, and Megan Meyer and Siena Cicarelli both had great games in the goal.

Girls U14
Sharpshooters 2, Purple Pirates 1 â Elizabeth Boedecker (on an assist from Jane Sclafani) and Meagan Foy (on an assist from Zoe Eggleston) scored to lead the âShooters to the win. Hayley Naphen, Gabriela Kalinowski and Rachel Rode had solid games. For the Purple Pirates, Becca Silveira scored the first goal of her soccer career as Ali Blume, Megan OâConnell, Katie Peters and Kayla OâLeary powered the offense.
Sharpshooters 5, Dominators 4 â Jamie Keating, Gabriel Milano, Meagan Foy, Alex Grant and Rachel Rode all scored to lead the Sharpshooters to the win. Caroline Lawrence and Zoe Eggleston had assists. Elisa Boedecker played well in goal. For the Dominators, Lindsey Pearlman and Jen Van Veen had two goals apiece with Emily Floros and Alex Fogelberg playing exceptional on defense.
Hurricanes 4, Turf Trashers 4 â Kristen DeGirolamo scored three goals to lead the Hurricanes. Kyra Smith and Elena Unschuld combined on the other goal while Casey-Rose Kearns and Samantha Lew played well in net. For the Trashers, Katie Cummings scored twice while Samantha Wray and Kaitlyn Connolly scored once. Alicia Carrafiello played well on D.
Boys U14
Meteors 4, Dynamite 0 â Kieran Lardner and Will Fletcher had two goals and an assist each to lead the Meteors to victory. Chad Cullens also had a strong game contributing an assist, while Hunter Moore played well at midfield and Rob Nordman made some great saves in goal. For the Dynamite, Mac Morlock and Ryan LeMay played well on offense and Eric Pisani and Ryan Pisani played strong games at midfield.
TNT 2, Wolves 0 â Hunter Bassett and Jimmy Russo scored for TNT with offensive support from Tom Giarratano while Fredrik Dean played well in midfield and Austin Quinn played well on defense. For the Wolves, Tyler Coleman and Ivan Hutchison combined for some strong offensive strikes while Nathan Norwich played well in midfield and Kevin Dill in goal again shut out the opposing team in the first half.
Liverpool 4, Golden Toasters 0 â Colin Cooper scored three goals to lift Liverpool. Niles Wilson notched an assist as Brandon Luxkaranayagam anchored a tough defense. For the Toasters, Colin Dutt and Tom Ermis both played well in goal as Dan Hamer had a strong all around game.
Boys U10
The Oskars 3, Wolverines 0 â Adam Koziol played great on defense, while Alec Hersh, Lukas Palumbo, Timmy Kelly and Tommy Shaker played well on offense to lead The Oskars to the win. For the Wolverines, Peter Manfredonia played well in goal as Trey Dewald and Erik von Schleusingen had a great game on defense and Thomas Rahr played excellent on offense.
Red Bulls 5, Scorpions 0 â Jordan Abraham, Michael Parker, Jared Brady, Carter Nordman and Anthony Vournazos all scored to lift the Red Bulls to the win. Bradley Kretz had a great game. For the Scorpions, Izaiah Volpe, Patrick Rowley, Michael Marcinek and Daniel Cummings all played well.
Dynamite 5, Hurricanes 1 â Wesley Morlock scored a goal and notched two assists, while Mitchell Stewart, Connor Miller, Patrick Berger and Alec Beauchemin each scored a goal. Danny Tobin played great on defense. For the âCanes, Otto Kerler scored and Mike Cook played well on offense while Joe Stromsky made an awesome defensive effort.
Girls U10
Tie Dye Tigers 3, Mad Monkeys 0 â Emily Grimes, Meghan Grimes and Kerry Scallon scored to lift the Tigers to the win. For the Mad Monkeys, Emily Jerris, Sara Lampel and Taryn McCleary had solid games on offense as Veronica Moyer and Katherine Clark provided strong defensive support.
Shockers 3, Nighthawks 0 â Megan Weber, Helene Sorensen and Kimberly Brello scored for the Shockers as Faith Pereira and Julia Rist were outstanding in goal. For the Nighthawks, Aileen Sheluck, Rachel Crosby, Julia Schoeni and Alyssa Ruefenacht played well on offense with multiple shots on goal.
Boys U8
Bulldogs 5, Patriots 0 â Michael Meyer, Sean Ferris, Shane Gattey and Sam Duffy scored to lift the Bulldogs to the win. For the Patriots, awesome performances were turned in by Ben Tuffy, Andrew Lee, Owen Walsh and Barrett DeYoung
Super Strikers 2, Super Chargers 2 â Everything was super as the Strikers and Chargers drew even. Nicholas Genovese and Jacob Anastasi scored for the Strikers. Forrest Weatherby and Korey Brosky shined on D. For the Chargers, Andrey Masser and Owen Samson scored as Tiernan and Jan Klepacki had a good games.
Hotshots 3, Super Chargers 1 â Josh Houle scored two goals and Jamie Cochrane scored one to lift the Hotshots. Evan Eggleston, Connor Flint, and Anthony Crisalli had assists. For the âChargers, Andrey Masser scored the lone goal as Mason Melillo, Colin Patrick and Ryan Brello each played great games.
Lightning Bolts 3, Blasters 2 â Matt Bucci, Dylan Kretz and Danny Gruber each scored a goal for the Bolts. Thomas Cotton and Andrew Janco played solid defense as Matthew Kretz and John McCann were great on offense. Kelland Chrystie scored both goals for the Blasters. Connor Barrett shined on offense as Grant Larson and John Pierce were solid on defense.
Girls U8
Killers 2, Mustangs 0 â Anna Biondi and Margaret Elkins each scored a goal to lift the Killers. Mackenzie Macchiarulo and Katie Elkins played great defense while Emily Neave supported the offense. For the âStangs, Lauren Beier, Lauren King and Alana Murray all had solid games on offense as Nicole Russo and Nevan Gattey anchored the D.
