Danbury Hospital Names Newtowner To Board

DANBURY — Danbury Hospital recently elected Brian C. White to its board of directors for a three-year term. Mr White, in addition to being a member of the board, will also be chairman of the Danbury Hospital Audit Committee.

Mr White is a Certified Public Accountant and has been a partner in the firm of Studley White & Associates for the past 23 years. He specializes in accounting and auditing for not-for-profit organizations as well as consulting for small businesses and individuals.

Licensed to practice in Connecticut, New York and Florida, Mr White holds an undergraduate degree in accounting from Georgetown University, a master of science in taxation from the University of New Haven, and a master of science in financial management from Fairfield University.

He also serves as treasurer for a number of local organizations including The Heritage Preservation Trust of Newtown, Connecticut Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association and the Pahquioque Rod and Gun Club, as well as a trustee of Newtown Savings Bank.

Mr White is a 22-year resident of Newtown where he continues to live with his wife Susan and their three sons.
