Broadway Stars Debut Concert At Canterbury

New Milford — Broadway’s Kurt Peterson and Victoria Mallory, stars of Follies, A Little Night Music, West Side Story and more, will perform together again in Twilight Notes, a benefit for the Little Britches Therapeutic Riding Program on November 7 at the Canterbury School’s Maguire Auditorium. The school is at 101 Aspetuck Avenue.

Peterson and Mallory began their careers as Tony and Maria in the first major revival of West Side Story at New York City’s Lincoln Center more than 40 years ago. They will share songs and stories from the twilight of the Golden Age of Broadway in this first of a series of concerts they are planning for 2009-2010.

All proceeds will benefit the Little Britches Therapeutic Riding Program.

Little Britches caters to children with special needs by allowing them to develop emotionally and physically through controlled therapy sessions with horses. This program is offered at no cost to its participants.

The show starts at 8 pm. General admission is $50 per ticket. Premium seats are $100 per ticket and will include a meet and greet with Peterson and Mallory after the show. Group opportunities are available.

To purchase tickets or for questions about Little Britches, contact Aimee Ciampini at 203-982-4207 or email asciampini@hotmail.com.
