Charlotte Stephen, 68, of Newtown died January 25 at her home after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of Charles Stephen, Sr. She was born in Newtown on November 13, 1940, a daughter of William and Florence Ferris.

Mrs Stephen was a member of the Newtown Congregational Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs Stephen is survived by her son, Charles Stephen, Jr, of Newtown; two brothers, Percy and David Ferris; and one sister, Gert Baron of Florida; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Charlotte will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at the Newtown Congregational Church, Tuesday, February 3, at 11 am. Interment will be in Newtown Village Cemetery in the spring. There are no calling hours.

Arrangements are in care of the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown.
