Mr and Mrs Brandt Schneider

Kasey Keating and Brandt Schneider were married August 16, 2003, at the North Congregational Church in Woodbury with Dr Craig MacLellan officiating.

A reception following the ceremony was held at Dolce Heritage in Southbury.

The bride is the daughter of Kathy Keating of Woodbury and John Keating of Las Vegas, Nev., both formerly of Newtown.

The groom is the son of Kurt and Pam Schneider of Newville, Penn., formerly of Newtown.

The bride was given in marriage by her parents.

Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Patty Shay of Southbury, and Susannah Schneider of Carlisle, Penn., the groom’s sister, was a bridesmaid. Best man was the groom’s father, and Jack Zamary of Newtown was an usher. Monique Shay of Southbury, niece of the bride, was a flower girl.

The bride attended Newtown High School, graduating with the Class of 1989. She attended Villanova University, graduating in 1993. She is employed as a teacher with the Region 15 School District.

The groom graduated from Newtown High School with the Class of 1987, and from Oberlin College in 1991. He attended Syracuse University, graduating in 1994. He is a teacher with the Derby Public Schools.

After a wedding trip to the Homestead Resort in Hot Springs, Va., the couple has been residing in Southbury.
