Return Canvass Form

The annual state mandated Registrar of Voters canvass is continuing. Canvass forms arrive in a window envelope with red lettering.

The Newtown Registrars chose to work with a national Change of Address system. Anyone with any changes to their address made through the post office should expect a canvass form from the registrar’s office.

The registrars have also decided to canvass anyone who did not vote in the November 2008 election. Voters are asked to simply check the appropriate box, sign and return the form to the registrars’ office by the due date.

The office is open Tuesday through Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm. Callers should leave a brief voicemail if the office is closed, providing full name and a local callback number.
