Grace I. Terry

Grace I. (Lacey) Terry, 71, of 1 St George Place, Newtown, died at her home on September 9. She was the wife of Charles F. Terry, Sr.

Mrs Terry was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on August 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Fitzsimmons) Lacey. She attended schools in Brooklyn, N.Y., and had lived in Danbury and Thousand Oaks, Calif., before moving to Newtown a year ago.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children: Charles F. Terry, Jr, of Chicago, Ill., Robert D. Terry of San Francisco, Calif., James X. Terry of Danbury, Timothy F. Terry of Iowa City, Iowa, Brian F. Terry of Monkton, Md., Kevin M. Terry of Alexandria, Va., Donna Salem of Pleasant Valley, N.Y.,  Leonard V. Terry of Zion, Ill., Christopher Terry of Chicago, Ill., Edmond Terry of White, Ga., Gerald P. Terry of Southington, and Michael P. Terry of New Milford; her sisters, Margaret Hunsinger of Clifton Park, N.Y., and Ellen Lacey of Utica, N.Y.; her brother, John Lacey of Cape May, N.J.; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Joseph Church, Danbury, on September 13. Cremation took place at the convenience of the family.
