'The Spirituality Of Aging' At Next Lunch & Learn
âThe Spirituality Of Agingâ At Next Lunch & Learn
The next Lunch and Learn program at Lockwood Lodge at Ashlar of Newtown will be on Tuesday, March 21, from noon to 1:30 pm. at Lockwood Lodge at Ashlar of Newtown.
The program, âThe Spirituality of Aging: Embracing Lifeâs Journey,â will explore how spirituality is experienced through expressions of compassion, service to others, religious practice, and those things that bring deep personal satisfaction, comfort and peace to others and ourselves.
The speaker, Joseph N. Tobin, is a spiritual director and a frequent speaker on spirituality. He will lead a discussion on how the landscape of each personâs spiritual journey changes as they age, as one finds themselves re-thinking their values, creativity and search for spiritual fulfillment.
Mr Tobin, who attended the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation in Hartford, is director of compensation for Masonicare of Wallingford. Ashlar of Newtown, 22 Toddy Hill Road, is an affiliate of Masonicare, Connecticutâs largest not-for-profit provider of healthcare and senior living.
