Willow Creek Riders Compete, And Succeed, In Competition

Riders from Willow Creek Farm in Southbury competed at Groton House Farm Horse Trials in South Hamilton, Mass. in late June. Katie Volkers of Newtown finished fourth in the Training/Novice Division, Heather McGill of Sandy Hook, rode McDuff in the Senior Open Training Division, Cassi Ronan of Brookfield, finished 10th in the Junior Open Novice Division and Melissa Kalagian, of Oxford, rode Once In A Blue Moon in the Junior Open Novice. The riders all train at Willow Creek Farm with Amie Kersey Loring and with Kerry Torrey, who is a regular clinician there.
