The Newtown Chamber of Commerce announces its first speed networking event. The event will take place on April 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Newtown Senior Center, 14 Riverside Road in Sandy Hook.

In the effort to create new and unique ways for members to network, attendees will have five minutes at a time to showcase their business to fellow chamber members.

These events have been found to be an effective and exciting way to establish initial connections in a very different setting from the standard business networking meetings.
