The Newtown Parent Connection is hosting a special presentation on Thursday evening, September 3, featuring certified addictions counselor Julian Rodriguez of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.  Mr Rodriguez will be returning to Newtown after speaking before Parent Connection audiences in the past.

On his upcoming visit, he will speak to anyone who may be concerned about a loved one’s use or abuse of alcohol or drugs. 

His interactive talk is titled, “Addiction and the Family: When Do We Help & When Do We Hinder?” Mr Rodriguez practices at Treatment Solutions of South Florida and has extensive experience working with clients in recovery and their families.
