Dorothy F. Frampton

Longtime Newtown Resident

Dorothy F. Frampton, 81, of Newtown, died December 1 in Danbury Hospital. Mrs Frampton was the wife of the late H. Richard Frampton.

She was born in New Rochelle, N.Y., on November 15, 1925, a daughter of James and Helen (Martin) Barrett. Mrs Frampton lived in Newtown since 1970 and was a longtime member of the Brookfield YMCA.

Two daughters, Patricia Kubit and her husband, Robert, and Dorothy P. Frampton; and a son, Richard R. Frampton and his wife, LeReine, all of Newtown, survive her. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive Mrs Frampton.

Funeral services were held December 5 from the Honan Funeral Home, Newtown, and a Mass of Christian burial took place in St Rose of Lima Church. Interment followed in Kensico Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, N.Y.
