Memoli Named NHS Coach

Matt Memoli, a Newtown Middle School physical education teacher and baseball coach, has been named the new Newtown High School baseball coach by Newtown High School Athletic Director Gregg Simon this week.

Memoli, a graduate of Central Connecticut State University, also has baseball coaching experience for a U16 AAU team and as an assistant with Yale University. At Central, Memoli earned a degree in physical education and was on the Dean’s List in 2006 and ’07.

The Shelton resident is the owner and director of Peak Performance Sports Training.
