Jamie Chard of Sandy Hook was named to the Fall 2011 Semester’s Dean’s List at the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York City.

Newtown residents Ryan Daly, Marilyn Lacroce, Bianca LeBlanc, and Lauren Sippin were named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester at Fairfield University. At the university, students are selected for the Dean’s List based on attaining a grade point average of at least 3.5, of a possible 4.0.

Emily Rose Floros was named to the Dean’s List at the University of Delaware’s College of Arts and Sciences, Newark, Del., for the fall 2011 semester.

Melanie B. Isola, Timothy P. Larsen, Katherine R. McMorran, Evan T. Ritzinger, and Jonathan W. Toll were named to the Dean’s List at Boston University, Mass., for the fall 2011 semester.

Sandy Hook residents Alyssa Buda and Rachel Fatse and Newtown residents Nicole Haylon and Shannon Seaman were named to the Roger Williams University Dean’s List for the fall 2011 semester at the Bristol, R.I., college. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a grade point average of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean’s List at the university.

Goodwin College of East Hartford announced that Sandy Hook resident Tim Cummings made the academic Dean’s List for the fall 2011 session. The Dean’s List is reserved for students who earn a minimum 3.5 grade point average in at least six enrolled credits at the college.
