A Wonderful Encore Performance

To the Editor:

A wonderful night at the theater, as “Newtown Notables, Gone But Not Forgotten,” gave their encore performance at the Meeting House on September 12.

The indoor version of this play was just as mystical and entertaining. I’d like to thank the Newtown High School Tech Club, Shari Rowe, and Donald Rowe for their generous technical support.

I must, most sincerely thank my lucky “stars”; Dot Wenblad, Bart Schofield, Dick Hubert, Peter MacCarthy, Nanette Maturi, Ray Horvath, John Renjilian, Nelson Tamakloe, Bill Timmel, and Gordon Williams for emulating the historic personalities. You truly brought each notable back to life. Thank you again for working on this worthwhile program with me, for our town’s 300th anniversary.
