Hunter Pace Raises Funds For Social Services

Sunny Brook Farm held its 4th annual mock Hunter Pace on November 15 and raised $900 which was donated to Newtown Social Services.

Donations are used toward car repairs, medical bills, gas cards to allow people to get to their doctor’s appointments, for supplementing heating oil deliveries for those that are running out of their monthly quota, and keeping electric, cable, and phones on for those who are home bound. Donations may be made to the Newtown Social Services Gift Fund and sent to Newtown Social Services, 3 Primrose Street, Newtown 06470. Those who would like their donations to go directly to the Food Pantry should write “Food Pantry” in the memo section of their checks.
