Musicals Continue At Edmond Town Hall

Sabrina’s Encore Productions, Newtown’s performing arts school, will continue producing its winter season on musicals at Edmond Town Hall this weekend.

There has been such an interest in participation over the past few years that the school has broken down the age groups to perform four musicals, all age appropriate to the students’ levels.

Students in grades 7-10 will be offering a performance of the musical 13 on Friday, January 29, at 8 pm. Tickets are $15 or $21.

Students in grades 1-4 will be performing The Jungle Book on Saturday, January 30, at 2 pm. Tickets for this show are $8 and $10. Students in grades 5-6 will be performing Annie Junior on Sunday, January 31, at 2 pm; tickets are $10 or $15 each.

Students in grades 10-12 will be performing Smokey Joe’s Café on Saturday, January 30, at 8 pm, and Sunday, January 31, at 7:30 pm. Tickets for that show are $15 and $23.50. 13 and Smokey Joe’s will be accompanied by a live six piece orchestra.

The box office opens one hour before each performance and the doors will open one half hour before the performance time. The town hall, at 45 Main Street, is fully handicapped accessible.
