*This is it for Mocha Coffee House. Barring some miracle between now and Sunday evening, the wonderful little coffee house at 3 Glen Road will be closing its doors at the end of business on Sunday night.

The final performances in the musical corner down there will feature DC JAMES, a Jamaican born composer, singer and virtuoso guitarist, on Friday and then JP SHANNON, a “completely self-taught and still evolving [musician with a] freestyle form of ragtime, folk and blues.” Both shows will run in the traditional 8 to 10 pm timeslot.

Sunday will be the final day of business and will feature, as John Voket has outlined in a separate story (“Mocha Coffeehouse Closing, ‘Estate Sale’ Planned”) elsewhere in this week’s issue of The Bee, a sale of all of the business’s equipment and furnishings will be hosted by Mocha owners Rob Kaiser and Scott Wolfman.

I’ll miss Mocha.

*THE ADULTS, who hosted this week’s open mic night at The One-Eyed Pig on South Main Street, will be headlining at The Cookhouse in New Milford on Friday, June 4.

*Tickets  for JONAS BROTHERS, who will be at Comcast Theatre in Hartford on Friday, August 13, will be going on sale Saturday at 10 am. Priced at $37.50 for the lawn area and $67.50 and $97.50 for the pavilion’s seating, they will be available through LiveNation.com.

Demi Lovato will be opening.

Then at noon, tickets for OZZFEST 2010, which rolls into the same venue on Saturday, August 21, will be going on sale, also through LiveNation.com. Among the acts this year will be OZZY OSBOURNE, MÖTLEY CRÜE, ROB HALFORD and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY; the complete line-up for Hartford (and all other stops for the tour this year) is available at OzzFest.com.

Tickets for this show are $39.50 for the lawn (or $30 each if purchased in a pack of four), $60 to $135 for pavilion seating, and $160 for the general admission pit area.

*I don’t know if it’ll still be called a summer tour at that point, but CHRISTINA AGUILERA’s 2010 summer tour has been moved to 2011 due to prior commitments that the singer had already made to her film project Burlesque and to the promotion of her new album Bionic. According to a press release issued on Tuesday, the singer felt she needed more time to rehearse the show and with less than a month between the album release and tour date, this wasn’t possible.

So for anyone who had already purchased tickets for July 15 at Mohegan Sun Arena (or elsewhere), refunds are available at the point of purchase.

Until next week, I’ll be seeing you… on the road.
