Local Home Care Agency Celebrates Milestone Anniversary
Sharon Massafra, certified senior advisor and president/owner of Home Instead Senior Care in Trumbull and Sandy Hook, has announced the tenth anniversary of her franchise ownership. Ms Massafra began the franchise in February 2000 with a staff of one.
Today she oversees a staff of six, employs 125 caregivers, and she is welcoming her husband, Robert Massafra, to the executive staff in the position of vice president.

Ms Massafraâs team of caregivers serve seniors and their families in 33 towns throughout northern Fairfield, southern Litchfield and northwest New Haven counties.
Last fall,, she brought her husband, Robert, into her franchise ownership in the position of vice president. She commented, âBob currently oversees quality assurance, Connecticut Home Care Program for Elders, and chore services.â
Ms Massafra oversees on a daily basis, Home Instead Senior Care operations to assist senior citizens and their families in the northern Fairfield County towns of Bethel, Bridgeport, Brookfield, Danbury, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, New Fairfield, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Shelton, Sherman, Stratford, and Trumbull.
In southern Litchfield County, their caregivers serve residents in Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Kent, Litchfield, Morris, New Milford, Roxbury, Washington, Watertown, and Woodbury.
