How Long in Newtown: I have lived in Newtown for ten years. Prior to this, I lived in Stamford where I was born and brought up.
Biggest Change Seen in Town: Probably, like everyone else, increased housing development and population.
Family: My husband Charlie and I have been married for 14 years. We have two boys, Charlie, 11, who will attend the Middle School in the fall, and Mikey, 8, who attends Head Oâ Meadow.
Pets: I have a dog, Casper, who is a Maltese.
Hobbies: Watching my sonsâ baseball games, exercising, and boating on Candlewood Lake. I also like to read. I also have a lot of fun spending time in New York City with Randi, Frankie, Joey, Sami, and Marti.
Favorite Books and Authors: I just finished reading A Bend in the Road by Nicholas Sparks. I also enjoy books by Anita Shreve, such as The Pilotâs Wife.
Favorite TV Show: Other than Yankee games? Sex and the City and The Sopranos.
Organizations: Newtown Business and Professional Women. After four years on the board, itâs nice to just attend meetings and enjoy. I met so many nice people there. I also volunteer for PTA committees.
Most Vivid Memory of Newtown: A few years ago during the Holiday Festival I won a colonial dinner for six at the Matthew Curtiss House. It was cooked like it would have been in Colonial days. It was wonderful, and a lot of fun. It was one of the best things.
Favorite Vacation Spot: Probably Naples, Fla., where my parents live. We like to do that once a year with the kids.
Personal Philosophy: I like to live my life for the moment. I try to make the most of whatâs going on in my life right now.
