Beloved Mother And Grandmother

Jean Y. Bowden, 81, of Newtown, widow of Wade R. Bowden, died October 28 at Lockwood Lodge of Newtown. She was born in Enfield, May 24, 1928.

Mrs Bowden is survived by five daughters, including Diane Day and her husband Lee from Newtown, 12 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker and endured all of the drama that comes along with raising five daughters. She was loved by many friends that spanned across the United States. She enjoyed dancing, traveling, socializing, and her family.

Her family would like to thank all of the staff at Lockwood Lodge, Senior Helpers, Danbury Nurses Registry, and Masonicare Home Health and Hospice for all of their love, care, and compassion.

A private memorial service will be held for her immediate family.
