To the Editor:

You know what makes Newtown a special place to live? It's the people.

I recently got stuck in a snowbank and a good Samaritan came to my aid. Can't say enough good things about Ryan McGee. He and several others stopped to help me get unstuck, but Ryan stayed, persevered, and finally dug me out. What a good-hearted young man - he didn't have to do that, but he really went above and beyond and I am so grateful.

It's wonderful to know that such people are right around the corner.
