Cellphone, PDA Renewal Program Available For Businesses
EAST HARTFORD â Now local companies can get paid to responsibly renew their second-hand cellphones and PDAs.
The Connecticut Technology Council recently announced that it is offering an electronics recycling program designed for its member companies and others of the Connecticut technology community.
Companies and/or their employees can recycle their cellphones with CorporateRenew. This CTC partner and New Haven company simplifies the recycling of old phones while simultaneously rewarding those who take the initiative to redirect their electronic waste.
To sell back a companyâs old cell phones and PDAs, contact an account representative at 888-363-7473, extension 731
Once done, you will be able to schedule a free UPS pickup, and upon arrival, CorporateRenew technicians verify condition and pricing. Then, a check and report that breaks down the financial benefit and environmental impact will be sent within seven business days of order completion
Assuming good condition for each device, the CTC program estimates the return on a BlackBerry World Edition 8330 will return $26 per device, while a BlackBerry Curve 8330 will return $68 per device, and a Samsung i760 will return $44 per device
According to a company release, CorporateRenewâs vision is to offer businesses a comprehensive, green and secure solution for their second-hand electronics that both enhances the organizationâs bottom line and environmental credibility.
