Real Meaning Of Christmas

Newtown Christian Church will sponsor its annual “Real Meaning of Christmas” workshop on Saturday, December 4, from 9 am to 12:30 pm.

On this special day, the children will hear about the birth of Jesus, God’s gift to us, explained the Rev Jack Tanner, coordinator of the program.

“We want to help the children realize that the real meaning behind Christmas is not toys and Santa,” he said. “They will learn that it is because God loves us that He sent Jesus as our Savior. Then the children will make gifts to give to those they love.”

Because of limited space, registration is limited to the first 50 children in kindergarten through fifth grade.
