Annual St Rose Parish Carnival continues, 6-10 pm, St Rose Church grounds, 46 Church Hill Road, food, games, rides, and raffles.

Opening night A Comedy of Errors by The Town Players, curtain 8 pm, The Little Theatre, Orchard Hill Road, all seats $10, performances continue Friday and Saturday evenings through July 28; 270-9144.

Saturday, July 7

First Saturday Pasta Project Dinner, 5-7:30 pm, Newtown United Methodist Church, 92 Church Hill Road, $8 adults, $6 seniors, $3.50 children, full spaghetti dinner with choice of sauces, also garlic bread, salad, desserts, and soft drinks; 426-9998.
