Mommy & Me group forming. Support group for first-time moms and mothers of infants will meet Tuesday mornings beginning in late December or early January. Call Elaine at 270-4335 for more information.

NYCAAP

Newtown Youth Creating AIDS Awareness for Peers meets Wednesday, December 19, from 7 to 8 pm at Newtown High School.

Job Bank

Now taking applications from qualified 13–17-year-olds who would like employment babysitting, pet-sitting or miscellaneous household chores. Call for application. Mondays and Wednesdays 5 to 7 pm, and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 2:30 to 4:30 pm.

Support Groups

Grandparents Group for grandparents raising their grandchildren. Meets Wednesday, December 19, from 11 am to 12:30 pm.

Sib Shops For children ages 10 to 14 whose siblings have special needs. Meets Wednesday, December 19, from 5 to 6:30 pm.

Children of Divorce for children ages 10 to 14 whose parents are divorced or going through divorce. Thursday, December 20, from 5 to 6:30 pm.
