Parent Connection

A grassroots organization dedicated to raising awareness concerning substance abuse. The second forum will be held on Wednesday, October 22, at 7 pm, in the Newtown Middle School auditorium. Please watch for further details.

Hope Support Group

Support group for parents of children involved with substance abuse. This group meets Mondays from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Parent’s Corner. All are welcome.

Youth Programs

 4H — Grades 5 and 6, 3 to 4:30 Tuesday at the Greenhouse at Fairfield Hills.

HYSAB (High School Youth Advisory Board) — A community service group; Monday, September 29, 5:30 to 6:30 pm.

MYSAB (Middle School Youth Advisory Board) — A community service group; Tuesday, September 30, 2:15 to 3:15 pm.

NYCAAP — (Newtown Youth Creating AIDS Awareness for Peers). Please call for meeting schedule.
