Creative Fiction Writing For Young Adults

A winter session on fiction writing will be offered by C.H. Booth Library for young adults in grade 6 and up.

“Creative Writing: Fiction” will be taught by Newtown resident, writer and teacher Wally Wood. Adult Creative Writing volunteers will continue to assist.

The class will meet on alternate Monday evenings (January 24, February 7 and 28, and March 14 and 28), and is limited to 15 participants.

Students are expected to attend all five sessions.

All sessions will allow time for writing and sharing stories as well as one-on-one communication between adults and young people.

There is no fee to participate.

Call the library at 426-4533 or stop by the main floor circulation desk to sign up.

Visit Young Adult Librarian Margaret Brown for additional information. The library is at 25 Main Street in Newtown.
