UConn Stamford Min-Med School

STORRS — The University of Connecticut’s College of Continuing Studies will offer Mini-Med School at UConn Stamford this fall, with weekly lectures beginning on Wednesday, October 3, and running through Wednesday, November 28, from 7 to 9 pm. The series covers a broad spectrum of topics that are mandatory for all medical students, taught by the teaching faculty of The Stamford Hospital.

Lectures will include “Gross Anatomy,” “Peripheral Vascular Disease,” “Embryology, Congenital Anomalies,” “Pulmonology and Sleep Disorders,” “Introduction to Physiology,” “Introduction to Psychiatry,” and “Breast Cancer.” UConn’s Mini-Med School is directed by Philip R. Corvo, MD, MA, assistant director of General Surgery Residency at The Stamford Hospital.

Registration will be accepted through the first day of classes, but early registration is encouraged. For more information call 203-251-8585.
