WestConn To Hold MFA Readings

DANBURY — Several well-known authors, faculty mentors and one of Western Connecticut State University’s MFA graduates are sharing their works at public evening readings through Saturday, January 1, as part of the university’s Master of Fine Arts in Creative and Professional Writing program’s Winter Residency.

Programs begin at 7 pm. The final offering in the series will be Saturday, January 1, when MFA graduate Laura Hayden will read from her thesis, Staying Alive: A Love Story, at the Maron Hotel, 42 Lake Avenue Extension. An open mic session will follow.
