What do you hope will be a biggest Newtown news story in 2011?

Lisa Burgess: More local businesses utilizing the Fairfield Hills Campus and lower taxes.

Linda Gedja: My wish is that the efforts from all the people coming together for the Newtown Prevention Council’s grant to fight underage drinking come to fruition.

Janet Robinson: The biggest thing I’d like to see happen is that the budget passes on the first vote, and that the [Education Cost Sharing grant] is kept whole.

Tiffany Wolfe: I’d like to see a development plan for the Fairfield Hills complex.

Kyle Lyddy: That the NHS boys basketball team wins the SWC Championship.

Robert Frangione: I want to see a smooth transition into the high school expansion, and how the new addition is going to benefit everyone from here on out.
