Bridget Lee Wiemels and Gregory Lee Manifold

William and Chris Wiemels, of Powell, Ohio, formerly of Newtown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Bridget Lee Wiemels, and Gregory Lee Manifold, son of Carole and Robert Murio of Napa, Calif., and Kathy and Jerry Manifold of Brisbane, Australia. Ms Wiemels and Mr Manifold are residents of Washington, D.C.

Ms Wiemels attended St Rose Elementary School in Newtown. She graduated from Clarksville Academy in Clarksville, Tenn., in 1995. She received her bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of Rhode Island in 1999. Ms Wiemels is currently employed as a graphic designer with Corporate Executive Board in Washington, D.C.

Mr Manifold is a 1994 graduate of Vintage High School in Napa, Calif. He received his bachelor of arts in journalism in 1999 from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Mr Manifold is a layout editor for the sports section of The Washington Post.

A June 17 wedding is planned in California.
