The Sandy Hook Organic Farmer’s Market, which is open every Tuesday from 9 am until 1 pm through October, will again feature entertainment for all ages when it’s presented in the St John’s Church parking lot in Sandy Hook.

Palm readings are also being offered now, with visitors welcome at The Little Green Barn – across the street from the church on Route 34.

Area farmers have been participating will be contributing fruits and vegetables grown without the use of pesticides or insecticides, and others are offering baked goods made from natural ingredients and without the use of chemical preservatives.

Among the contributing vendors will be Shortt’s Farm and The Little Green Barn, both located in Sandy Hook, Warrups Farm, Old Solar Farm, Sacred Organics, City Coffee Café, and Guy’s Eco Garden. Market organizer Sue Fellows has been baking as well.

In addition to fruits and vegetables, the market will offer flowers, baked goods, breads, coffee, and a sandwich café.
