Program On Jewish Culture

RIDGEFIELD – The Jewish Federation of Danbury will present “Culture and Continuity: The Jewish Journey” at Temple Shearith Israel, 46 Peaceable Street, Ridgefield, on Sunday, November 7, at 3:30 pm.

The program will feature a slide show and lecture given by the Jewish Museum’s Docent Outreach Program.  The program is free of charge.

“The Jewish Journey” will travel back in time to when Jewish life flourished. It will convey how the interaction of Jews with majority cultures of the world led to fascinating variations of Jewish life.  A specially trained docent will present the 45-minute program.

The Jewish Museum was founded in 1904 and is among the 50 largest art museums in America.
