Debuts Spring Issue

The Newtowner, an arts and literary magazine “devoted to all that is best about the place we call home,” invites the public to an evening of readings in celebration of its spring issue, Saturday, March 12, from 6 to 9 pm, in the meeting room of the C.H. Booth Library.

“Our goal is to call attention to the rich and diverse cultural flavor of our region, highlighting local writers, poets, artists, performers, and photographers,” said editor Georgia Monaghan.

Meet the spring issue’s featured poets, authors, and artists, and have copies of the first spring issue autographed. Also featured during the evening will be the debut of “Youth Expressions,” The Newtowner’s inaugural Youth Section.

Light refreshments will be served, and the premiere spring issue of The Newtowner will be available for purchase.
